During November, December and January, Giving Gifts will be donating 10% off all orders to Free the Children to help build a school in Kenya through their Pocket Change Heroes Challenge.
The challenge goes something like this - if 33 people donated $3.33 a day for 3 months, then we'd have $10,000 to build a school for kids in need in Kenya. Now I'm not great at math, but $3.33 a day doesn't sound like that much to me and 33 people - well that is doable as well! So I signed up and if sales are high enough, I'll add my name again and again to make sure that 10% of all orders during November, December and January are donated to Free the Children.
Even better, I am hoping that this donation from Giving Gifts leads to a bigger campaign that Giving Gifts heads. I'd love to be able to put together a group of 33 people, made up of friends and family and customers whom together, through their connection to Giving Gifts, raise $10,000 and build a school!
