The Why!

Most days I open orders, price items, put them on the shelves, sell them at the store or mail them to online customers and then place more orders which I then open and price, and put on the shelf, etc..

After 5 years of having an online store and over 2 years of having a brick-and-mortar location, I'm used to the constant cycle of retail. Not much gets me that excited anymore, until I opened the box that I just received from FashionABLE. As soon as I opened the box, I knew I had rediscovered the WHY in what I am doing. 

WHY? Because the world needs to shop ethical fashion.
WHY? Because the world needs to have access to brands that are truly making a difference in the world. 
WHY? Because ethical fashion and accessories are beautiful (absolutely stunningly gorgeous) and they create positive social change and help make our world a better place. 
WHY? Because we are all in this together. We all need to help each other and create more sustainable and more compassionate communities. 
WHY? Because you can choose to shop anywhere, but when you shop fair trade and eco friendly, when you shop local and when you know the story behind the product you are purchasing, that purchase is so much more meaningful to your life and the lives of so many others. Be proud of your purchases! Through your purchases you have the power to make an amazing difference in our world
WHY? Because we all deserve to live with dignity. We all deserve to earn a fair income. We all deserve to be treated compassionatly and we all deserve to share our story. 
WHY? Because gifts should give!
