TITAN ARUM Square Scarf
This 36" square scarf by JUNCO design features digital art made from original photos taken of an Amorphophallus titanum that JUNCO was fortunate to see blooming in Vancouver, BC at Bloedel Conservatory in 2018. Amorphophallus titanum, also known as the titan arum, is a flowering plant with the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world. It can grow up to 10 ft tall! Native to the rainforests of Sumatra and Java, some specimens are kept in a handful of botanical gardens around the world.
Made of an elegant chiffon that is translucent and drapes beautifully to dress up any outfit.
Why we LOVE JUNCO design textiles:
JUNCO creates all their own textile designs using original photographs that they then manipulate into beautiful, unique digital art for fashion. Each design is created with the garment in mind. They value local, sweat-shop free, eco-conscious manufacturing and all items are made in Canada by hand. Nothing is mass produced, and they use high quality materials that will last for years to come. All dyes used to produce their textiles are water based and solvent free.
