Why we LOVE Robbie Vergara Designs:
RV Screenprinting started in 2010 as a creative outlet for Vancouver based artist Robbie Vergara. Robbie designs his surreal and "punny" images using combinations of 18th and 19th century biology and historical drawings. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Max Ernst, Terry Gilliam, Andy Warhol and his love for music and film, Robbie creates uniquely original prints for every taste. Every print is individually and lovingly hand-pulled in East Vancouver, BC. RV Designs uses water based non-toxic inks on top quality North American made garments.
RV Screenprinting strives to make the best T-shirts possible. They use high quality North American made garments, and always use eco-friendly water based, non-toxic inks because they care about our planet!
This is a small batch operation, so you can feel good about supporting the local arts in Vancouver, and know that you are getting a one of a kind item. Absolutely everything is designed and hand printed in BC, Canada.
Designs
Every design is 100% original and created by Robbie using pre-existing public domain images or commissioned drawings. A lot of thought and care is put into each one. The designs speak to Robbie’s keen eye to detail and love for all things fun and quirky. Inspiration is drawn from a variety of sources such as surrealist art, cartoons, and film. These are designs that you won’t find just anywhere. RV Designs definitely have a sense of humour and they hope you do too!
