Ecojot is a family-run business founded in 2007 by brother and sister team Mark and Carolyn Gavin. Their love for paper and great design has enabled them to create a sustainable brand made entirely in Toronto, Canada.
Carolyn is a very successful artist/design and creative director. Mark handles sales and marketing. Derek, Carolyn’s husband, runs production.
Ecojot paper/board is a combo of recycled and carbon neutral paper. All inks and glues are vegetable based, and all black and kraft boards are sourced from sustainable suppliers in North America. Ecojot was awarded the Ancient Forest Friendly and Order of the Forest Awards.
Over the years, Ecojot has donated thousands of books to kids in need all over the world with their Buy 1 / Give 1 campaign.
