TEWÍN’XW (too-ay-nooh) is one of the Squamish words for berry.

A simple and sustainable alternative to facial cleanser, our facial bar delivers a purifying cleanse and gentle exfoliation with fine rosehip and cranberry powders and French pink and kaolin clays. These fine granules absorb excess oil and buildup, help balance sebum production and leave skin smooth, refined and bright. Shea butter, rosehip oil and coconut oil soften the skin for a fresh, moisturized feel.

Once the plants are harvested it’s time to process them. This usually includes scraping bark, cleaning, hanging to dry, infusing in oil and more. After processing, it’s time to create! Leigh loves this part — developing each recipe, pairing particular plants based on their healing properties with the highest quality oils, clays and plant butters. (Her five-year-old daughter calls these her “potions”.)
