Artist Story: Nadima of Moonlight Jewels

Where did the name of your business come from?

I'm very into the lunar cycle and getting into astrology. I also love the idea of cleansing your crystals in the moonlight.

What is the story behind why you started your business?

I like pretty rocks and crystals and always found myself at these stores. Collecting crystals and stones is fun but its cool to re-purpose them into something you don't see often. I also love the fact that I can create jewelry that carries healing properties specific to the stones.

What is the dream that you wish to fund through your business?

I'd love to quit my full time office job and pursue a creative career full time where I call all the shots. Supporting your family off your dream is empowering.

How have you grown as a person as a result of your business?

I've grown to perfect time management and prioritization skills. I've also met so many amazing small business owners that I never would have met had it not been for my business.

What are you most proud of about your business?

The face that I am able to help fund and support my family with something I thought up and executed.

What difference does your art make in your life?

It is my creative outlet. I love the process from beginning to end. I am able to escape life's daily stresses and focus on creating.
