I started LanaBetty because I needed more. I was a fresh college graduate and had recently entered the workforce but felt I had fallen short. I was used to the overwhelming and fast pace of university. Deadlines. Events. Working tirelessly into the evening... every day. I started LanaBetty to challenge myself, to learn new skills, and ultimately to make beautiful jewelry for others to feel good about themselves too.

I've been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, always doodling in the margins of notebooks, striving to be creative in every aspect of my life. I have been giving sketchbooks and artwork as gifts to friends for years, but it is only recently that I began selling them as a way to raise money for a trip to Cambodia in July.
