I remember myself painting and drawing from very small age - in kindergarten, then elementary school. One summer day during the school holidays when I was 10 years old, my mom came into my room. I was painting by myself, as usual, and she looked at me suspiciously and said: "Come on, get dressed. We are going to sign you up for art school!" This is how it all officially started.

The name Gabriel's Light was inspired by a beloved friend and client of mine, Kiana. She helped me to see the Light...Archangel Gabriel was a huge presence in Kiana's healing sessions with me. I wanted to honour both Kiana and Archangel Gabriel by branding this product line, Gabriel's Light.

I have huge passion for knitting and crocheting. Every free moment I have, I pick up my needles and a ball of yarn to create something that I love. I am fascinated by the limitless possibilities that a strand of yarn can create. It's like the needle is my wand and before I know it, I am under the magic spell of this art.

My dad worked in a paper mill while I was growing up so there was never a shortage of paper in our house. I have always been a creative person and I soon realized I loved the tools and medium of scrapbooking better than making scrapbooks, so I migrated to card making and stumbled on the technique of quilling.

Nature art was always a too but I was never confident enough to try and sell them. When I finally started to sell online and one person bought one, I was so excited that someone out there loved my art enough to purchase. Then it just went from there. I love making people happy with my art. I get energized from it.

I have always loved art, ever since I was a child. I first started painting at around 10 years-old. It was not until around 2009 that I took up illustrating and writing. I relocated to Tokyo the following year, to work and develop my creative projects—holding exhibitions and releasing my first illustrated book.
